This is the website of Barnaby Pittingale.

Born on 29 April 1986 at 6.50am, Barnaby Lance Pittingale crashed into the world with typical Taurian gusto, weighing in at 8lb9oz.

His early racing recollections involved watching his father Russ racing at Playscape's indoor circuit at Clapham, London and motorbike speedway at Wimbledon's Plough Lane Stadium, where his particular favourites were Australian Todd Wiltshire and local boy Ray Morton.

His first track outing was at Norwich's Indoor Karting Circuit in February 1995, where he crashed heavily after the throttle jammed wide open! He kept the kart together for a lap and a half though...

April 1995 was his ninth birthday party held at the indoor circuit in Clapham, and he lapped all his friends with obvious glee! The next step was 6 months training indoors under the watchful supervision of Playscape's Mike Pusey until his transfer to the outdoor stage in September 1995. The rest is history, and can be found on this website under the description of Kartistry.

As time has gone on, Barnaby's youthful exuberence has given way to a more reserved character, except when he is on the racetrack where the beast returns!

After going to Wallington County Grammar School, Barnaby is now midway through his apprentice period as a technician for BMW.
